School

La Maison D'Etudies, or the House of Studies, is a school founded by Scholastica, a compassionate nun from Bukavu, Congo. Witnessing the plight of numerous refugee children left without homes or access to education, she felt compelled to take action. With determination, she established and gradually expanded the school, offering countless children the opportunity to learn and thrive. Last year, my brother and I partnered directly with Scholastica to support her mission. We raised over $2,000, which funded the creation of outdoor seating, enabling more than 300 additional children to attend classes. Recently, Scholastica secured a grant of over $100,000 from the World Bank, which she is now using to construct new buildings and further accommodate her growing number of students.
